YP Puppy Rescue

Pound dogs are our priority, reducing the euthanasia rate within our community of abandonded dogs our aim. Puppies are accepted either via the pound or private surrender. De-sexing is a top priority to stop the vicious cycle of unwanted litters.

Small, private rescue service for the pound dogs in our Community, plus we accept unwanted single puppies, litters, or part litters. Highly ethical rescue which provides the very best care possible to each and every dog/puppy ensuring de-sexing is a top priority.

YP Puppy Rescue has been formed with the co-operation of local Rangers, with the intention being to rescue puppies and older dogs which find their way into the pounds within the Yorke Peninsula. We also accept privately surrendered puppies.

Please do not assume that we will take your dog, as refusal may offend.

We are able to take very young puppies as this is our expertise, being able to provide the intensive around the clock care that they require.

Our foster carers generally take in the older pound dogs, giving them love, attention and some training to prepare them for their new homes.

We ensure all rescues are de-sexed, vaccinated, micro chipped, worm and flea treated. The adoption fee helps to cover these costs, and we are eternally grateful to Dr.Natalie Olding and Dr. Stevens for the services they offer YPPR. All rescues are desexed regardless, we do not wait until they have a firm adoption.

We will, when necessary engage the services of accredited, professional trainers for our rescues, and will always encourage owners to participate in classes with their new dogs/puppies.

We reserve the right to perform yard checks, to ensure adequate fencing, and a secure environment is available for the pup/dog.

We will always be able to provide friendly, helpful advice, and we look forward to hearing about the babies as they grow, and how the "poundies" are settling into their new lives.

~YP Puppy Rescue... One by one, will will save them.~

**ADOPTION FEES:
STANDARD $390.00 per puppy unless stated otherwise.

YPPR reserve the right to increase the adoption fees if necessary. At the moment, we are absorbing some of the feeding, travel and sundry costs. The vet work MUST be paid for, or we will not be able to continue to save the pound puppies/dogs!
